More conversations with the investors you need.
Raising for a fund or a deal means talking to far more family offices, LPs and co-investors than you have time to reach. Your team opens those first conversations under your firm's name. What happens next is between you and the investor.
A raise takes more conversations than you have hours.
And most of it happens on top of the day job.
It competes with the deal.
The moment you most need capital is often the moment you have least time to ask for it.
Warm introductions run out.
Your network gets you started. After that, you need investors who don't know you yet.
Each investor wants a different first note.
A family office and a co-investor care about different things. Writing to each one well takes time.
The investors you want to meet.
You decide who's on the list. If you don't have one yet, we can build it from your strategy.
Family offices
Single and multi-family offices that back your kind of deal, sector or manager.
LPs
Institutions and individuals who commit to funds like yours.
Co-investors
Firms and individuals who invest in specific deals alongside a lead sponsor.
Sourciers ask for a conversation. That's all.
The substance of your raise stays with you. Your team's job is to get you in front of the right people.
What sourciers do
- Introduce your firm and the kind of deals you do, in words you've approved
- Ask whether the investor would be open to a conversation with you
- Book the meeting into your calendar, with a short note
- Stop straight away when someone says no
What sourciers never do
- Pitch terms, returns or an offer
- Discuss the details of a fund or a deal
- Give advice of any kind
- Handle money or commitments
Your raise, your rules.
What you're allowed to say to investors, and to whom, depends on how your fund or deal is structured and where your investors are. Before we start, you confirm with your own advisers that this kind of outreach fits your raise. We then write the messages to fit what they tell you.
Flat fees, nothing tied to the raise.
You pay per sourcier per month. There's no fee per introduction, no success fee, and nothing linked to the capital you raise. See pricing
What does an investor meeting look like?
A first conversation between you and the investor, booked at a time that suits you both. Beforehand you get a note on who they are, what they invest in, and what they said. From there, the conversation is yours.
What if an investor asks about terms?
Your sourcier tells them that's a conversation for you, and offers a time to talk.
Can the same team reach owners too?
Yes. Separate sourciers cover each audience, so every message is written for the person receiving it. Your lead sourcier runs both and reports on both. See owner introductions.
