More owners in your search, without doing it all yourself.
You have a thesis, a search window and, often, nobody else. You want your hours spent meeting owners who fit, not writing to them. A team of sourciers works your list every working day, and you meet the owners who want to talk.
The clock runs whatever you're doing.
Most searchers know these well.
The window is fixed.
Every month spent reaching owners slowly is a month less to find the right company.
It stops when you find something.
A letter of intent and diligence take over, and new conversations dry up just when you'd want a fallback.
You're one person, maybe two.
Writing to owners properly takes time. On your own, a few hundred a month is about as far as it goes.
What a team changes for a searcher.
Your days go on the owners who've agreed to talk. The rest is ours.
Far more of your list.
With three sourciers, around 1,000 owners a month hear from your search, each with a note written for their business.
A clear answer on your thesis.
Sourciers can each cover a different sector or angle, so you see which one owners respond to and can change course early.
No gap during diligence.
When a deal takes over, your team keeps going. If it falls through, you're not starting again from nothing.
Questions searchers ask us.
More in the FAQ.
Will owners take a searcher seriously?
Messages say plainly who you are: someone who wants to buy one business and run it for the long term. For some owners, that's exactly what they want to hear. Your sourciers appear as part of your search, under your name, and you approve how they describe it.
Isn't three sourciers a lot for one searcher?
Three is the smallest team that works through a whole list rather than the top of it, and gives you a clear read on your thesis sooner. You don't manage any of them. Your lead sourcier does, and you only see the meetings.
What happens when I find my company?
Tell your lead sourcier, and decide together what the team does next: keep a fallback going while you're in diligence, or open conversations with co-investors for the acquisition. Conversations already under way are yours.
