Platforms and add-ons, without tying up your associates.

Your deal team knows what each portfolio company should buy next, and which new platforms you'd like to own. What you want is more time with the owners of those companies. A team of sourciers works your theses every working day, and your team meets the owners who want to talk.

Sourcing is everyone's job, so it's nobody's first job.

In most firms, reaching owners happens between other work.

  • Associates are stretched.

Models, diligence and portfolio work come first. Writing to owners fits in around them, when it fits at all.

  • Every platform has its own list.

Add-on targets for several portfolio companies, plus new platform theses, add up to more names than anyone can get through.

  • It comes in bursts.

Outreach picks up between deals and stops during them, so conversations with owners arrive unevenly.

One team across your theses.

Your lead sourcier runs it and reports to you. Nobody on your side manages anyone.

Coverage for each thesis.

Each sourcier covers part of your target: one portfolio company's add-ons, a new platform thesis, or a sector such as specialty distribution.

Grows with the portfolio.

New platform, new list? We add a sourcier, already trained and set up. No hiring on your side.

Meetings with the right person.

Meetings go into the calendar of whoever you choose to take them, each with a short note on the owner and what they said.

Questions deal teams ask us.

More in the FAQ.

Do sourciers replace our associates?

No. They take on the part of sourcing that eats the most hours: reaching owners and handling replies. Your associates spend their time with owners who've agreed to talk, and on the deals themselves.

Can we cover several portfolio companies at once?

Yes. Each sourcier covers part of your target, and the monthly report shows who was contacted, who replied and meetings booked for each thesis, so you can see where to add or move a sourcier.

Whose name do the messages go out under?

Your firm's. Sourciers appear as part of your team, and you approve how they're described before anything goes out.
